Map and RSS feed of current IS faculty openings

Hello everybody,

with the new recruting starting soon, I thought it might be a good idea to share one of my projects with you. Starting last year, I manually mapped job openings onto google maps, which was quite laborious to say the least. Thanks to Yahoo, the job map now is dynamically updated and should be a useful tool to scan the market. There is also an RSS feed availiable if you prefer to browse the text based listings.

You can check out the project at: http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~vsascha/mapO.htm

You can subscribe to the feed at:

I hope this helps with your job search. As always any feedback is appreciated.

  2. Thank you for the feedback so far. I am still working on Mac compatibility. However, positions posted on ISworld and AIS Placement should now appear as well.

  3. This is a wonderful resource!
