are the results of the doctoral consortium out, yet?
thanks…
elham — I don’t have any special information one way or another about this year’s invitations. I will say that it likely takes at least several weeks for the selection process to occur. With the application deadline having just passed on May 15, I would not expect notification until at least sometime in June.
Then again, maybe I’m off base and it’s a super-efficient process.
Does anyone who attended last year remember when notifications went out?
thanks steven… one of my friends who attended last year said it took 2 weeks for them… but on the flyer it said that we would be notified by may 22nd… that’s why i was wondering
… but i agree, i also thought 2 weeks would be too short for such a process… so i guess, lets see
I talked to Brian Butler, and I don’t think that notifications will be sent out for a few weeks. I am not sure where you saw May 22 noted as the date notifications would be sent out, but he isn’t aware of that date. The only material which he has distributed about the consortium is listed in the original post. I will post if I hear anything more or receive anything.
thanks a lot, typenedit!
The May 22 notification date is listed on the web version of the CFP:

I was surprised that it would take only a week to reach the decisions when I first saw it. Although knowing the outcome earlier would definitely be nice. Not sure about previous years, but the fact AMCIS follows right after AOM makes the planning especially tricky this year. I was hoping I could decide whether and for how long I will attend AOM first, before I start thinking about my travel mode to Toronto and application for Canadian visa.
I believe that notifications have started to go out for the doctoral consortium. Congratulations to everyone that was accepted.
